Ocker receives award for overcoming adversity
In September 2010, Brent Ocker found himself living what could have been an episode of the TV show 鈥淗ouse.鈥 Doctors were stumped trying to determine why his body was shutting down. They finally pinpointed the cause as a rare form of botulism. Treatment worked and Ocker began the arduous task of regaining his health and completing his master鈥檚 degree in sport administration.
