The 10-week program includes an intensive approach to entrepreneurship training called Kauffman Fast-Track and offers a year of coaching and mentoring for vets who have the imagination and drive to start a business.

Experienced faculty and business professionals will teach the program at UofL鈥檚 College of Business. Veterans who are selected to participate will learn how to connect with others, develop a strategic business plan and build a support network. They鈥檒l also receive up to $2,500 reimbursement toward eligible business start-up expenses. Classes will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Two sessions are available, one starting Feb. 21 and another starting in September.

The program is funded by the Kentucky Veterans Program Trust Fund. Applications are due by Feb. 3.
