Trustees approve 2012-13 budget, tuition/housing rates
The University of Louisville Board of Trustees approved a $482.6 million general fund budget for 2012-13, up about 2.5 percent from 2011-12, at its May 10 meeting. It reflects a cut in state funding and anticipated increased fixed operating costs.

Commencement set for May 12; events also scheduled other days
More than 2,734 University of Louisville students are expected to graduate this semester and at least 1,800 of the soon-to-be graduates will take part in commencement ceremonies May 12 at the KFC Yum! Center. There will be two separate ceremonies to allow enough time for each graduate to step onto stage to receive a diploma.
