Provost Shirley Willihnganz announced Duncan鈥檚 appointment after consulting with law school faculty and staff and discussing it with President James Ramsey. Duncan will succeed Jim Chen, who is expected to return to the law faculty after a year鈥檚 leave.
A member of the law school faculty since 1997, Duncan has been associate dean for more than a year and is a former chair of UofL鈥檚 Commission on the Status of Women.
