The partners of Research!Louisville recently recognized the winners of a three-day research competition that is a part of Research!Louisville.

The Geriatrics division of the University of Louisville’s Department of Family and Geriatric Medicine honored four Louisvillians age 85 and older for leading lives that are active, engaged and involved.

The University of Louisville has received a total of $14.4 million and a UofL researcher will oversee another $8.9 million to help shape the manufacture, distribution and marketing of tobacco products as they are regulated by the FDA under the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act. The combined amount is $23.3 million.
