LOUISVILLE, Ky. 鈥 The University of Louisville鈥檚 Family Business Center will present its third annual Brown-Forman Family Business Leadership Award on Nov. 9.
The award recognizes an individual whose family business has multiple generations working in it and whose headquarters is in the greater Louisville-southern Indiana region. The winner is chosen on the basis of exemplary leadership, family unity and civic engagement in the family business community.
The award winner will be announced during the center鈥檚 2016 Family Business Center summit, 鈥100% Responsibility-Zero Excuses,鈥 featuring keynote speaker author . The summit and award luncheon will be held at The Henry Clay, 604 S. 3rd St. Ticket prices vary; the event is free for UofL students. Purchase tickets at .
The Family Business Center is part of UofL鈥檚 College of Business. With more than 90 members, it represents many of the region鈥檚 strongest and most reputable family business leaders, providing a community where they can exchange strategies and experiences, safely explore challenging issues and learn from leading experts in areas unique to family businesses.
