Hydration and caffeination

School supplies

E-Ink tablets are additional gadgets you can use to save trees but still get that classic feeling of taking notes if you prefer putting pen to 鈥減aper.鈥 Helpful tip: Make sure your device is charged and has the battery power to last an entire session. Desk space near electrical outlets during in-person classes can fill up quickly.
Sunscreen
One of the best parts of being an in-person student is getting to traverse campus every season and be part of the thriving energy that makes a university hum. But all that time walking around outdoors between classes means you should apply a layer of protection to keep your skin protected from the Kentucky sun. Whether traditional or nontraditional, the need for sunscreen is ageless.
Good shoes
Did we mention you鈥檒l be doing a lot of walking? Depending on which courses you鈥檙e taking each semester, there鈥檚 a chance you may have to travel from one side of campus to the other in a short period of time. Even if you鈥檝e carefully planned your courses to be in buildings near one another, class locations can change at the last minute.
