LOUISVILLE, Ky. 鈥 The University of Louisville College of Business, home to the Forcht Center for Entrepreneurship, is hosting the eighth .
The event will be held in Harry Frazier Hall, 110 W. Brandeis Ave., from Friday March 11 at 6:30 p.m. to Sunday March 13 at 9 p.m.
Registration is required for participants, but free and open to the public are Friday鈥檚 initial pitches at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday鈥檚 final presentations at 5 p.m.
Startup Weekend is known as a 鈥渢hree-day startup crash course.鈥 Participants 鈥 including developers, designers, engineers and marketing professionals 鈥 present ideas, choose the best ones and see how far they can take them in 54 hours.
Startup Weekends have been held in more than 400 cities around the world since 2007.
