UofL program aims to help health care workers recognize, treat autism

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. 鈥 Health care professionals who work with children will benefit from a series of seminars offered by the University of Louisville鈥檚 Kentucky Autism Training Center to help them recognize, diagnose and treat those with autism and related disorders.

    鈥淭he programs are based on case studies鈥攔eal-life scenarios鈥攖o help health care workers see what worked in the past,鈥 said the center鈥檚 Assistant Director Rebecca Grau.

    The seminars, Autism Case Training: A Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics Curriculum, are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and cost $25. Dates and locations are:
