LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville Foundation Board of Directors has elected Dr. Robert Hughes as chairman. Hughes is a family physician and managing partner of Primary Care Medical Center in Murray, Ky. He also chairs the University of Louisville Board of Trustees.
鈥淏ob is a tremendous supporter of UofL鈥 said UofL president James Ramsey. 鈥淗is knowledge of the university鈥檚 needs and how the foundation can help meet those needs is unsurpassed.鈥
Hughes is a graduate of the UofL School of Medicine, and he completed his residency in family medicine at UofL. He began his term as chairman of the foundation board on Jan. 30. He will serve out the remainder of former chairwoman Debbie Scoppechio鈥檚 term, which ends in September.
