LOUISVILLE, Ky. 鈥 Elevate, UofL鈥檚 official crowdfunding platform, will launch Monday April 24.
The platform features noteworthy university initiatives and enables the community to engage with and support projects that are meaningful to them. Elevate also gives students, faculty and staff an opportunity to share their stories and impact their respective areas.
鈥淧roject pages help share the story of innovative and critical causes across campus,鈥 said Will Holley, director of annual giving. 鈥淒onors will get to see the direct impact of their support almost immediately.鈥
聽Each donation goes directly to the project chosen. Gifts made through Elevate are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
鈥淓levate will help take the passions of our campus and bring them to life through our community鈥檚 generosity and support,鈥 said Holley. 鈥淲hether you are interested in utilizing Elevate to launch your project or find a project that inspires you to give, this platform and our office are here to help.鈥
Seven projects will run through the month of May, with causes ranging from ROTC equipment, service learning trips, holistic autism treatment, Parkinson鈥檚 disease and more.
