Edward Halperin steps down as dean of School of Medicine
Edward C. Halperin, M.D., M.A., F.A.C.R., dean of the University of Louisville School of Medicine, has announced he is leaving UofL to become the chief executive officer and chancellor for health affairs of New York Medical College and provost for biomedical affairs at Touro College and University System. Dr. Halperin will assume his new duties May 1.

Preschool children at the University of Louisville Early Learning Campus dance gleefully to guitar music and make their own music on handheld percussion instruments. They are taking part in a weekly half-hour long session with Darcy Walworth, UofL music therapy program director, and her students. And they are having fun.

Chef, author and expert on 鈥榝ood justice鈥 to speak at UofL
Bryant Terry, a food justice activist, chef and author will speak at the University of Louisville March 1. He is expected to say that access to fresh, healthy food should be a basic human right and discuss what communities can do to improve such access.
