Campus Store – UofL News Fri, 17 Apr 2026 17:45:05 +0000 en-US hourly 1 UofL textbook orders to be online only /post/uofltoday/uofl-textbook-orders-to-be-online-only/ Tue, 02 Aug 2022 20:58:43 +0000 /?p=56957 To meet customer expectations, along with making course materials more affordable and available in a more rapid manner, the University of Louisville Campus Store is converting to a fully online ordering system for textbooks. Beginning with the Fall 2022 semester, the Campus Store will no longer carry physical textbooks in the store. Instead, all textbooks will only be available to order online using your student ID number at .

Students should create an account (and not check out as a guest). This change will allow students the flexibility to purchase their textbooks anytime during the day regardless of where they are located. The Campus Store will have access codes and many custom course packs available for purchase in the store.

Students can purchase textbooks and choose free in-store pick up. You will receive an email when your order is ready for pick up at the Campus Store (within 2-4 days). You can also ship to an off-campus address for a flat fee ($7.50 for 3-4 day standard shipping). Students also have the option of choosing between digital, used, new and rental books.

Note: Nothing has changed with respect to the purchase of e-books and digital material.

Refunds can always be requested at the store through Aug. 29. All book returns, rental check-ins and buy backs will take place in the store.

UofL Campus Store celebrates grand opening /post/uofltoday/uofl-campus-store-celebrates-grand-opening/ /post/uofltoday/uofl-campus-store-celebrates-grand-opening/#respond Tue, 31 Jan 2017 16:55:57 +0000 http://uoflnews.com/?p=34907 When Lauren Greenwell arrived at UofL as a freshman, she knew the University of Louisville would change her.

But Greenwell didn’t expect the physical campus would change so much around her – a new Student Recreation Center, a renovation of the Student Activities Center, and on Jan. 30, the grand opening of the University of Louisville Campus Store.

“This is a pivotal year as a Louisville Cardinal because we are able to witness the transformation of our campus with the addition of modern, stateoftheart concepts and structures,” said Greenwell, the services vice president for the Student Government Association.

Greenwell, Dean of Students Michael Mardis, Louie the Cardinal Bird, former University of Louisville football player James Quick, student leaders, and officials from Follett Higher ֱ Group were on hand to celebrate the opening of the new store.

In addition to textbooks and school supplies, the store, operated by Follett, offers an array of apparel and gifts, as well asa fully-licensed Apple Store.

The store is located on the ground floor on the Student Activities Center, on the Floyd Street Side. A plaza outside the store will be built as part of the renovation and will allow for a large gathering point outside of the store.

“We’re very excited to be part of the renovation, this new gateway to campus,” said Bob Scholl, senior vice president of operations for Follett Higher ֱ Group. Scholl said Follett has 1,200 stores and the ambiance of UofL’s store is unlike any other.

Mardis said the ongoing renovation of the Student Activities Center will shift campus life.

“We’re really transforming the student center more and more into the heart of campus, the hub of campus, the living room of campus,” Mardis said.

The Campus Store will continue to celebrate its grand opening throughout the week with a 20-percent discount on a single apparel or gift item, daily giveaways on Facebook and more. See the Campus Store and for more information.
