LOUISVILLE, Ky. 鈥 Sometimes one block party just isn鈥檛 enough.
That鈥檚 the thinking behind this year鈥檚 University of Louisville Homecoming 2010 celebration which features a campus block party Sept. 25 and a second block party in the Highlands Oct. 3. Both events are free and open to the public.
鈥淲e tried something new with last year鈥檚 Homecoming in the Highlands block party” said Jimmy Ford, executive director, alumni relations. 鈥淚t was well received by our alumni, fans and local businesses along Baxter Avenue. The festival atmosphere makes it great for families and we look forward to making this an annual event.鈥
