LOUISVILLE, Ky. 鈥 The University of Louisville and Fort Knox have signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen the relationship between the two.
The Fort Knox-University of Louisville-Community Partnership Advisory Board, a 16-member panel formed in June, is developing more than 20 new projects aimed at increasing cooperation among UofL, Fort Knox and the community, said Renee Finnegan, UofL鈥檚 executive director of military initiatives and partnerships.
The partnership鈥檚 goal is to 鈥渃reate a valued and lasting, military-friendly partnership that recognizes and respects, in all aspects of their career, the men and women who serve,鈥 she said.
