Future of the Middle East will be focus of McConnell Center talk

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. 鈥 Military and security expert will give a free, public talk March 7 about the current situation in the Middle East and offer insights into what the future may hold for that region.

    Lohaus鈥 talk, 鈥淚SIS on the Run: The Future of the Middle East,鈥 is a University of Louisville McConnell Center event. It begins at 7 p.m. in the PNC Horn Auditorium, College of Business.

    Lohaus is a former analyst with the U.S. Department of Defense and is currently a research fellow at the American Enterprise Institute鈥檚 Marilyn Ware Center for Security Studies. His research focuses on intelligence policy, special operations forces, military modernization and technology, and unconventional warfare.

    The McConnell Center is co-sponsoring this event in collaboration with the American Enterprise Institute. A reception will follow the talk.
