Four local colleges join forces to boost college readiness

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. 鈥 Four Louisville-based colleges have announced that they will jointly launch the Signature Partnership 成人直播 Access Center, a facility to help adult learners work toward a college degree. The center will open Feb. 1 in Parrish Hall, Simmons College of Kentucky, 1015 S. Eighth St.

    The center was partially funded by Kentucky鈥檚 Council on Postsecondary 成人直播 and its partners are Jefferson Community and Technical College, Simmons College, Spalding University and the University of Louisville. It will target underserved populations, primarily in West Louisville, by offering adult learners assistance with diagnostic testing and advising, choosing a college, applying for financial aid and preparing for college-level classwork.

    Mark Hebert
    Following a 28-year career as a radio and television reporter, Mark Hebert joined the University of Louisville as the Director of Media Relations in 2009, serving as the main spokesperson. In 2015, Mark was named Director of Programming and Production. He鈥檚 now producing and hosting a radio show about 鈥渁ll things UofL鈥, overseeing the university鈥檚 video and TV productions and promoting UofL鈥檚 research operation. Mark is best known for his 22 years as the political and investigative reporter for WHAS-TV in Louisville where he won numerous awards for breaking stories, exposing corruption and objectively covering Kentucky politics. In 2014, Mark was inducted into the Kentucky Journalism Hall of Fame.
