成人直播 researchers win grants to study behavior, engagement

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Two University of Louisville professors have received a $1.5 million Kentucky Department of 成人直播 grant to expand their student behavior training programs to every school district in Kentucky.

    Terrance M. Scott, professor and director of UofL鈥檚 (CIBRS), and Amy Lingo, interim dean of the College of 成人直播 and Human Development (CEHD), will use the grant for the (KY-ABRI) program.聽

    KY-ABRI will develop video-training modules as well as conduct statewide training sessions and offer on-site support.

    鈥淚n our research, we apply scientific methods to understand how specific actions can be implemented,鈥 Scott said. 鈥淥ur goal is to find the best way for teachers to foster student engagement, differentiate instruction, handle disruptive students and promote positive behavior.鈥

    Additionally, Scott and Andy Frey, professor in UofL鈥檚 Kent School of Social Work, were awarded a three-year, $1.4 million federal grant to study a new method to help teachers improve classroom engagement and positive feedback rates.
