2019 Fall Free Enterprise Speaker Series announced

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. 鈥 African entrepreneurship, Mozart and lousy beer are all part of this fall鈥檚 University of Louisville College of Business 2019 Fall Speaker Series.

    All events begin at 4:30 p.m. and are free and open to the public. The schedule and locations are as follows:

    Sept. 18 鈥 Magatte Wade: The Moral Impact of Entrepreneurship. is an entrepreneur from Senegal who will describe overcoming regulatory obstacles on her way to launching her lip balm business in the West African country. She will show step-by-step how entrepreneurs change lives by generating jobs and creating value for customers. Her talk will be in the PNC Horn Auditorium in the College of Business.

    Oct. 2 鈥 Rob Kapilow: All You Have to Do Is Listen. Composer and entrepreneur will take attendees deep into the mind and music of Mozart to discover the unique role of 鈥渓istening for possibility鈥 in entrepreneurship, leadership, innovation and collaboration. His program will be in the School of Music鈥檚 Comstock Concert Hall.

    Nov. 4 鈥 Robert Lawson and Benjamin Powell: Two Economists Drink Their Way Through the Unfree World. Lawson and 聽Powell are co-authors of 鈥: Two Economists Drink Their Way Through the Unfree World.鈥 They will recount their travels through socialist countries and why bad beer is only the beginning of the problems they encountered. They will speak in the PNC Horn Auditorium in the College of Business.
