Vietnam War stories from a March 31 UofL are scheduled to air the next two weekends on C-SPAN3鈥檚 American History TV.

鈥淯nheard Tales of the Vietnam War: A South Vietnamese Perspective from Kentucky鈥 featured five panelists sharing memories 40 years after the fall of Saigon. The Vietnam War Commemoration Committee at UofL organized the free, public event with the McConnell Center, president鈥檚 office, enrollment management office and history department.

C-SPAN3鈥檚 program will air at 4:30 p.m. April 26 and again at 8:30 a.m. May 2. The program also will be available afterward on the C-SPAN3 American History TV website:

Panelists included veterans Hung Le, Tung Nguyen and Khue Tran, along with Tran鈥檚 wife Hao Tran; Gary Minh Tran, former cabinet member of the South Vietnamese government, also was a panelist.
