The 10 a.m.-3 p.m. event, co-sponsored by the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft, will be in Room 100, Bingham Humanities Building, on UofL鈥檚 Belknap Campus.

–鈥淢yspace: God, Humanity and the World in Eero Saarinen鈥檚 Christian Architecture,鈥 Jeanne Halgren Kilde, religious studies director at University of Minnesota
–鈥淣aked Airport: Aviation and the Modernist Dream,鈥 Alastair Gordon, contributing editor at The Wall Street Journal鈥檚 WSJ Magazine and editorial director at Gordon de Vries Studio
–鈥淢asters of Architecture, Masters of Sex,鈥 Mina Marefat, Georgetown University professor and curator of the KMAC鈥檚 current exhibit, 鈥淓ero Saarinen: A Reputation for Innovation鈥
The symposium is free and public but reservations are required at by Jan. 17; there is a charge for luncheon orders with registration on the same site.
There also is a pre-symposium tour of the KMAC鈥檚 exhibition 鈥淓ero Saarinen: A Reputation for Innovation鈥 at 4 p.m. Jan. 17 at the 715 W. Main St. museum; a 5:30 p.m. Jan. 17 cocktail reception will follow another tour of the American Life Building, the 471 W. Main St. structure designed by architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe.
