The new student housing on and near UofL鈥檚 campus doesn鈥檛 compare to university dorms as little as 10 years ago. Stainless steel appliances, individual bathrooms and bedrooms, hot tubs and extensive game rooms are all part of the new student living experience at Louisville鈥檚 two newest student apartment complexes.聽
UofL Housing Director Julie Weber says students expect nice amenities because 鈥渉ousing has become a key element in the recruiting process and it is now an asset to have this type of upscale housing.鈥澛
Weber said it’s part of today’s competitive marketplace to offer students such amenities.聽
