The theatre department will present five mainstage shows starting in September with 鈥淓da (Everyman),鈥 the Yoruba version of the medieval morality play 鈥淓veryman.鈥 The production is presented by UofL鈥檚 African American Theatre Program (AATP).

Other shows include 鈥淔reedom Days,鈥 which is part of the university鈥檚 Project Progress initiative focusing on the Civil Rights Movement, William Shakespeare鈥檚 classic tragedy 鈥淥thello,鈥 the AATP production of 鈥淭he African Company Presents Richard III鈥 and the colorful murder mystery hijinks of 鈥淎 Commedia Adaptation of Clue.鈥

Her job lets her share UofL鈥檚 good news in all avenues of communications including UofL Magazine, advertising, content marketing and branding. Walsh joined UofL in 2014 after previously serving as the public relations specialist at Indiana University Southeast. Prior to her career in higher education communications she was an award-winning newspaper reporter. Red is one of her favorite colors and it鈥檚 a good thing, too, because she earned her bachelor鈥檚 degree in journalism from Western Kentucky University and her master鈥檚 in communication from UofL.
