The presidents signed a resolution that is in line with Senate Bill 1, which the Kentucky General Assembly passed in 2009. The bill calls for P-12 and higher education systems to work more closely together to improve readiness levels required for students to succeed in a credit-bearing course at a postsecondary institution.
