鈥淪olo Command Performances鈥 consists of 14-minute vignettes with titles that range from 鈥淢ormon in 15 Minutes or Less鈥 and 鈥淐leaning up the B(lack) S(tereotypes)鈥 to 鈥淭hree Girls and a Guy鈥 and 鈥淭he Three Labors of Anansi the Spider.鈥
Some of the play content 鈥渕ay be a bit edgy so audiences should be prepared to be a bit shocked as well as entertained,鈥 said James Tompkins, a theater professor who teaches the class as part of a three-year program that prepares students for careers in acting, arts management and education and related fields.
The program is unique as UofL is only college in Kentucky to offer a master鈥檚 in fine arts in acting, Tompkins said.
