UofL students, faculty and staff may purchase advance tickets for $5 with a university ID at the front desk of the Student Activities Office (SAC W310). Tickets at the door will be $7 for students and $8 for the community.
The event is one of SAB鈥檚 longest running traditions.
鈥淭he goal of the Diversity Committee of Student Activities Board is to promote diversity on our campus. The International Fashion Show was actually created in response to the 9/11 events in 2001, which created stereotypes and fear towards certain cultural groups,鈥 said Diana Lalata, chair of the event. 鈥淭he fashion show aimed to break down those stereotypes and show the student body that all cultures are beautiful. Fashion聽is a way for our students to unite together to recognize this beauty.鈥
