鈥淓valuation and Management of Patients with Brain and Spinal Metastasis鈥 will be held July 10 from 7:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the UofL Clinical and Translational Research Building, 505 S. Hancock St. Admission is free but pre-registration is strongly encouraged at the .
鈥淲e are bringing together some of the leading clinicians and researchers from our cancer center and beyond to discuss the latest innovations in caring for patients with central nervous system cancer,鈥 said Conference Director Eric Burton, MD, assistant professor in the Department of Neurology. 鈥淒isciplines represented include neurosurgery, radiation oncology, neuroradiology, neuro-oncology and more.鈥
The conference is designed both for health care providers and the general public, Burton said. 鈥淚f you are a health care professional working in the neurological cancer field, if you are a patient with neurological cancer or if you are a caregiver to someone with neurological cancer, this conference will benefit you.鈥
