Billing itself as 鈥渁 variety show of tomfoolery,鈥 the performance will feature University of Louisville faculty and students and community members carrying out various feats of comedy at 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 1, at the Thrust Theatre, 2314 S. Floyd St.

The variety show will be a cabaret-style performance featuring stand-up, clowns, magic and more. Characters from the upcoming UofL Theatre Arts main stage show 鈥淗int! A Masked Murder Mystery鈥 also will be performing improv in mask.

Admission is $5 and all proceeds from the show will go to support UofL students traveling to Milan, Italy, this summer for The Fo Project.

The Fo Project is a multi-year endeavor in commedia dell鈥檃rte with participants from Italy, the U.S., Israel and Brazil. UofL students and faculty will take part in 鈥淨u,鈥 a world premiere play by Nobel Prize-winning Italian playwright Dario Fo that will debut at the International Expo in Milan.
