Movie nights will be Fridays June 10, July 15 and Aug. 5. In addition to family movies shown on a large inflatable screen, activities will include inflatable rides and family and children鈥檚 entertainment. All activities are free and open to the public.
Sodexo will sell food and drinks. Patrons also are welcome to bring picnic baskets, coolers and lawn chairs or blankets.
Movie organizers are hoping to build on last year鈥檚 events, when hundreds of people turned out for each movie.
鈥淲e wanted to do something special for our campus community last year, and we were pleased so many faculty, staff, students, alumni and their families came out,鈥 said UofL President James Ramsey. 鈥淲e鈥檙e hoping for even larger crowds this year.鈥
Activities will begin at about 6:30 p.m. Movies begin at dusk.
