The University of Louisville Schools of Medicine and Nursing and the Greater Kentucky and Southern Indiana Chapter of the Alzheimer鈥檚 Association will present 鈥淭he Journey: Alzheimer鈥檚 Disease and Caregiving,鈥 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., that day at Crowne Plaza Louisville Airport Hotel, 830 Phillips Lane.

Thomas Obisesan, MD, chief of geriatrics at Howard University Hospital and professor of medicine at Howard University College of Medicine in Washington will give the opening presentation. Other speakers are:

- Teri Shirk, chapter president and CEO, and JoAnna Weiss, director of education and outreach, Greater Kentucky and Southern Indiana Chapter, Alzheimer鈥檚 Association, 鈥淐ommunity Resources鈥
- Demetra Antimisiaris, PharmD, assistant professor, UofL Department of Family and Geriatric Medicine, and director of the UofL Geriatrics Polypharmacy Program, 鈥淧olypharmacy鈥
